Accessorize Your Favorite Dress This Fall

With the seasons changing, so do our clothes. But we don’t have to jump into our coats and boots so fast! Let’s take things slow and start to slowly incorporate a little fall into our wardrobe. For instance, take the dress. Accessorizing a dress to fit fall’s weather is so simple and easy and can be lots of fun!

Below I put together a few of my favorites pieces of accessorize I love to pair up with my favorite dresses. From outerwear, to hair accessories, to scarves. Let’s have some fall fun!

Scarves are a great way to add any color to a dress and an easy way to add some fall flavor into your look. Pick a solid colored dress and pair it with a fun printed scarf for a touch of color, or even a printed scarf to add some edge to your look.

Outerwear is one of my favorite perks when the weather is changing. During the transition of summer into fall be careful from wearing outerwear that might be a little too “warm.” Stick to more light weight material for an effortless transition to your outfit. Try a a simple blazer, or fun vest to add some fall to your look!

Hair is a girls best accessory and never forget that! Hair accessories are just as important as to what you put on to wear. Some fun fall trends are fun colored fedoras or turban wrap headbands. Or if you are a little more girly try a fun feather headband or knotted headband for some texture in your hair!

Now for a fashion challenge! Try any of our fall ready dresses with these accessories to transition your dress into fall. Now that New York Fashion Week as come to an end, it’s time to sit back and take it all in. The trends seen on the runways, apperances made by celebrities and what groundbreaking events occured. But you know what my favorite part of fashion week is? Seeing the street style of those who attended this past weeks events. Nail-Spiration!

So it has come to my attention that the traditional manicure is so 2 years ago. Now, the more unique your nails are the better. I have been seeing a number of different nail trends from fashion blogs, to the runways, and even on other girls I see out and about. Fall Fashion Trend Alert!

It’s that time of the year again when store windows start displaying their new arrivals of fall clothes and we all stand there and wounder, “where did summer go?!” But instead of wishing that the warm sun won’t be going away soon, let’s get a good understanding of what we will be seeing this fall season in fashion.

This season is all about the rust hues when it comes to color, one of them being mustard yellow. This fun color will have everyone’s eye on you. For a more classic and elegant look, deep plum and silver have made its mark on the runways for this season. As well as the soothing neutral taupe. Don’t be surprised when you see these colors across everything from clothing to accessories!

Plaid isn’t for school girl uniforms anymore, it just so happens to be one of the hottest trends this season. You can wear this pattern in a number of different ways. From your clothes, to your shoes, to even your iPhone case. It’s a fun pattern to be used anywhere!

This fun fashion trend is back! Pair a colored pant with a neutral colored top to tone down the brightness of colors. Or if you are a fan of color blocking, pair it with a complimentary color.

What’s so fun about the chunky sweater trend is that if you pair it with a long skirt or maxi dress you will look so very chic. Also if you prefer comfort in your style, this trend just may be your new best friend.

Dress Up in Love of Dresses

When it comes to dressing up I think all of us girls can agree that it’s always a fun time. From the hair make-up, outfit, to the anticipation of the great night that lies ahead it will forever be a special moment.

It may still be super hot outside but your worries of the perfect dress to wear in this heat is over! We have some new additions to our dress shop that are perfect for the weather and can I also say extremely stylish! These lightweight dresses are perfect for a nice dinner out, going to a fancy party, or even just spending a casual night out.

Our Poppy Seed dress by Savannah Rae and inspired by Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City 2, is a perfect dress to pair with a black blazer, nude heels, and a pop of color of fun accessories, like this long necklace and clutch.

All black perfection. Nothing says chic more than the color black, and with our simply chic dress this is the perfect way to achieve it. Pair this one shouldered dress with a black evening clutch, a black cocktail ring, and black slingback pumps.

Shades of coral is the perfect pop of color. A mixture of red and pink hues, it’s one of my personal go-to summer colors. Wear it in large or small amounts, it doesn’t matter! Just have fun it with!

I want to share with you the top 5 summer hair trends I have been seeing this season that will make your outfit perfectly complete.

1. The Fishtail Braid.

The messier braid, the better it looks! This is the perfect alternative to the common braid because it makes it seem as if you spent a lot of time on it, when it doesn’t take that much hard work at all. It isn’t difficult at all!

2. Turban Headband.

This is a fun and different hair accessory to try for your hair. When your at the beach, pool, spending the day outside, or just want your hair away from your face. Don’t grab the usual headband, try a turban and you’ll be surprised how chic it will make you look.

3. Beachy Waves.

Set the flat iron aside! Go for the effortless beachy waves and everyone will be admiring your perfect summer hair.

4. High Ponytail.

When the weather is hot and the humidity goes up, so does your hair. But this look can be very chic in the summer as a high ponytail. With a little tease here and there, your ponytail will be anything but average!
